RESOURCES
This toolkit synthesizes the best thinking about environmental sustainability measures and programs, laws and regulations, and local related information to facilitate the practical and beneficial adoption of these practices by businesses. Portions of this toolkit were developed using publicly available content provided by the Office of Environmental Education at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Environmental Educational Training Partnership (EETAP), environmental education guidelines set forth by the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), the U.S. Department of Energy, Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and environmental agencies within Prince William County Government.
At our annual conference, we host our PWCGBC Environmental recognition awards to businesses that have become great environmental stewards through actions and showing their achievements for multiple sustainable contributions to their community and business.
